The Betania Dam covers an area of 7400 hectares and is 76 meters deep. It is located at the mouth of the Yaguará River in Huila. In addition to being a tourist attraction, this dam’s function is to generate electricity and regulate the flow of the Magdalena River, meaning that it has immense economic importance.
